Each week we gather from all ages and walks of life to learn and grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.  We come together to be reminded of the glorious hope we have.  We call this our Sunday Gathering because we believe that the church is people of God gathering together rather than an event we attend.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Sunday Gatherings typically last 75-90 minutes.  There is no need to dress up.  We take a come as you are approach.  You will find that we aren't worried about what you wear as long as you are there.  As you attend, we suggest that you bring a Bible if you have one.  If you don't own a Bible, simply ask us and we will gladly give you one of ours.  You may also want to bring a notebook to take notes during the sermon.

WHERE DO I GO

When you arrive at the church simply park in the parking lot next to the building and follow the signs to the front entrance on Catawissa Ave.  Right inside the door you will be greeted by our Welcome Team who will greet you and direct you to the sanctuary where we hold our Sunday Gathering service or to the KidSpace check-in area in the fellowship hall for your little ones.

WHAT ARE SERVICES ARE LIKE

We typically begin our service by sharing a few highlights going on at Sunbury City Church. After this, we spend time singing to the Lord.  Singing is a way to set our hearts on the Lord. At this point we spend about 45 minutes studying God's word before inviting the kids into the service to worship again through singing and giving of our offering to further God's kingdom.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS

Kids are important to us.  In our KidSpace program we have trusted and trained teachers who are fully back-ground checked.  Each week your kids will learn about Jesus through age-appropriate lessions in a safe environment while you attend the Sunday Gathering.   Please arrive about 15 minutes prior to the service to check your child in.  Visit our KidSpace page for further information.
